How to Clean Your Leather Products - Put a small amount of a gentle, moisturizing soap like Dove on a damp cloth and bring it to a gentle lather. - Rub the damp cloth on the leather using caution not to put too much water on the leather. - Wipe away lather with a fresh damp cloth. NOTE: Do not rinse the leather in water or it will leave marks on the leather and may darken the leather or leave spots of different color on your leather. - Polish leather with a dry towel. For best results, treat leather with a leather conditioner after it has dried completely. - Never use a shoe polish or other such products on your leather!
